Those kind of posts are ridiculous, I’m gonna like what I’m gonna like, also boybands don’t stop girlsbands from having fans and being successful. Girlbands have also tons of fans and i can name at least three girlbands currently on the market and doing well, the only massive boyband is literally only One Direction.

This post is not stupid. This post is not about dishing boybands or making fun of their fans. This post is not about boyband stops girlbands from being popular. This post is about how unfairly the society treats girlbands and boybands.

You can go to youtube and click on a Little Mix or Fifth Harmony videos and look at the nasty comments below. When they wear sexy costumes and sing seductive lyrics there would be bunches of people calling them sluts and bitches. They have intimate interaction with the male dancers/actors in their music videos and people call them disgusting. They work hard on their choreography and people are like OMG STOP YOU CAN’T MOVE.

But when it comes to boybands? 1D hint sex in their lyrics so many times and people go YEESSS FUCK ME DADDY. 5sos take off their pants in their videos and people go TAKE OFF MY BRAS TOO. Not to mention 1D have the worst choreography (basically they don’t even have one) they can go around the stage grabbing their dicks and people would buy 10 tickets to watch it happen 10 times.

yeah I’m a huge fan of 1D, buy you can’t deny those girlbands work MUCH harder on performance than the boys do. But all they get is being compared to the other groups, or telling them to “get away from our boys!!”

Don’t even tell me this is not true. Don’t ever tell me this is not important. Don’t ever tell me to shut up about supporting talented female artists.
